Pwned By A Monster Burger!

Last saturday was a lot of fun!

Vanessa and me went to Antwerp to sell some cookies for Music For Life, and to eat something and in the end we ended up shooting a video at the place we went to eat (Lombardia)! It was really a lot of fun, and although I kinda suck at cooking I did learn a lot that day! You can check out the video to see my fai... euhm... 1337 skills :p.

That place was like heaven to me! You have to know that it is really hard for me to find something to eat when I go out since I don't eat any meat or fish, nor cheese. And on top of that I mostly try to eat healthy... ye I hear you thinking... GEEK!

Well... if you feel like labeling you can call me a geek alright... if it makes you feel better... ye... ah... you call me a rabbit too? Ye sure... they are cute... I can live with that... :).

Anywayz... I ate like the BIGGEST BAD ASS BURGER there, and although it tasted delicious the thing was so huge it should come with a manual! Not joking! And it should start with... step 1: don't try to eat the burger in his whole state. Cut it into pieces or you will get pwned! I kinda figured that out when the burger was all over me already. The worst part is, I kinda noticed it because people who were also eating the giant monster, kinda looked weird at me. Obviously I checked out their plate and ye...they DID figure out that it's best to cut it into parts and not to go all burger rampage mode!

I also discovered one of my new favorite drinks called Ginger Love. It is something they came up with, and it is really nommy nommy AND healthy! :) If you visit them one day, you definitely have to try it out! :)

 

The cookie sell didn't go as well as planned... it was waaaaay too cold and people didn't feel like buying cookies....Well that's what I like to tell myself... I must admit I actually really suck at selling stuff...so... probably... it was just me doing a terrible job.... Well at least I've tried, right?
 

When I get the results of the little cookie campaign I surely let you know!




Ah and by the way...we might shoot more videos there, so if there is something you want to ask about delicious and healty food you can always let me know, and I'll try to add it in the next clip :).

Each year Studio Brussel (Radio station in Belgium) organises a fund raising for a certain charity. This year it's all about supporting South African children who have lost their parents cause of AIDS and since we are in town anyway we decided to help out as well! And... since Vanessa is a great cook... cookies it iz!

is, they are pretty healthy (ginger cookies) and only cost 1 euro AND you help some kiddos out!!!

Monster Shopping Spree!!!

Yesterday I noticed I gathered  + 3000 FPPs on Pokerstars, and decided to go and check what I can get for that via their online shop (http://www.pokerstars.com/vip/store/).

For people who don't have a clue about what I am talking about. FPP's are Frequent Player Points. The more you play, the more you get. If you get a certain amount of those, you can exchange them for all sorts of stuff at the Pokerstars shop.

So, I decided to go and check that store out....

I can tell you one thing! There were soooo much things I liked there, I kinda couldn't decide which item to take!

Well... I guess I can make a top 3 or so and go for those :p. 

Ok, it is decided! After World First (Cataclysm) I will go hardcore pokermode! :p

Live Meeting Next Week!

Today I really had a great afternoon with Vanessa (Reese's girlfriend). 
We went to town. Did some shopping there and went to eat something at Lombardia (more info:http://smarturl.org/xslsr). It's one of Moby's favorite restaurants, and it was chosen to be the best vegetarian restaurant in Belgium! We loved it so much, that we will be going there again next week, and since we got a lot of messages of people who wanted to meet up in Antwerp... Well... this is your chance! We will be there around 11:00 am CET, and we will shoot a video there and do some cooking ourselves as well. After we had a nice meal and one of the best tea ever (Ginger tea omnomnom), we went to the Kerstmarkt. I actually never visited one, and tbh I really enjoyed it a lot! I got myself a really nice winter cap there and we got ourselves a really cool friendship ring :).

we also talked to some of the people of the little shops there. They were so nice! We also got to know some more about Chinese goodluck dolls. It seems they are made of special wood (of the Muzuki tree) which was housed by the water spirit, which would protect the people's wooden (and paper) houses centuries ago. The dolls have their own name and background, and they looked soooo cute!

When we noticed it was really getting late, we ended our little rendez-vous with a nice strawberry milkshake (for me) and some nice chocolate omnomnom dessert from Starbucks (for the little chocolate monster called Vanessa).

How Athene got World First lvl 85 (Cataclysm)

This is the promised video about how Athene got World First Level 85, and it also includes a little trailer to introduce our upcoming science project.

To be honest... I still cannot believe we made it in 5 hours! Well, it's even hard to believe we made it at all! While playing we got so many messages from people saying others were leveling faster, and that we were not going to make it. So you can imagine how happy we were when we officially reached it!

I got so many mails from people who wished us the best! I was really touched by all the support we got! Tnx guys! <3

Lately I have also been getting a lot of mails with the question whether the science project was a troll. Well... it ISN'T! Reese and Chiren are working on it 24/7 and if everything works out as planned, it should be done this month.

I can tell you one thing! It looks AWESOME! They are really doing a great job, and I am really looking forward to see the end result as I believe it might change the lives of a lot of people.

The visuals are AMAZING, the content is REVOLUTIONARY and combined with AWESOME music, made by Professor Kliq (http://www.professorkliq.com/music.html), IT WILL ROCK YOUR BRAINS OUT!!!

I also keep getting the question what my part will be in all this. Well... without giving too much away, I think I could say that me and probably others will help and spread the word ... :).

World First it is!

We made it! It took us about 5 hours of hard labour (and Chiren had to put a lot of time in preparing and planning everything), but we did it and to be honest we kinda thought it would take us 15 hours so...you don't hear me complain! lolz

The only thing that delayed us, was the signing in. It took us about an hour for everyone to log in, but I guess the release of a new expansion pack always causes this sort of problems....

It was an amazing experience! Really great team work, and it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be! The only thing I used to do were quests, but now I got to taste some awesome teamwork and it tastes like... MORE!

The guild Tututut and all the other people who helped us, really did a great job! If I start playing again, I will surely join that guild with my new character (if I am allowed ofc... I kinda suck at it so...). Not sure which char to take though if I would start playing again. I guess time will tell... :).

Chiren (Athene) frapsed it all, and started to work on the video a few minutes ago. It will be done in no time, and ofc I will post it in here, so keep your eyes on this blog! :)

Going for World First Tonight!

OMG... I AM STRESSING SO MUCH ATM!

To Be honest I didn't play World Of Warcraft for a very long time, and I never was very good at it. That leads up to being a rusty shitty player....

That cannot be any good, right?! And as if that weren't bad enough, I am playing on my netbook (Eeepc with 2gb ram, shitty onboard graphics card and a 1,6gb processor).

I AM SO FUUUUUUUUUUUCKED!

You are probably wondering why I am not using my VAIO. Well, I kinda borrowed it to my little brother. His laptop broke down, and he really needed it for work so....

To be honest, back then I also didn't know that we were going for World First lol!

Well, I think it will be a very interesting experience and I am always in for a challenge so.... BRING IT ON!!!!

Why take it the easy way, if you can do it the hard way, right?!

Testing Blogger...

Today I talked to a friend of mine about maybe starting my own site.... I really would like to have a site with different subjects f.e. some Poker blogs, Personal blogs, my Youtube videos, a picture section etc.

The funny thing is I really don't know anything about it so I decided to check out some blogging sites, and Blogger came out of it. GOOGLE FTW!!! :)

I found out that Blogger is one of the biggest blogging sites out there so I decided to give it a try, and here we are! I don't know yet if I can link this to my own domain name, and if I can do the things with it which I would like to do, but we'll see.

If I decide to not start my own site and this site has a better structure than Tumblr, I might switch to this one anyway.

In the meanwhile I will do some more research...
